As a Bible believing church, we are called to fulfill the Great Commission as taught in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus Christ calls His church to make disciples of all nations. Embedded in this call is the authority to baptize disciples and teach them to heed to commands of Christ. Jesus gave this command shortly before He ascended into heaven, and expects those who follow Him to do the same in His absence.

We are to be Christ’s witnesses, fulfilling the Great Commission in our towns or cities (Jerusalem), in our states and countries (Judea and Samaria), and anywhere else God sends us (to the ends of the earth). It is the working of the Holy Spirit that compels us to share the good news of Jesus Christ until everyone has heard. We are to be about the business of the Kingdom, making disciples of all nations. It’s time to sound the alarm and compel them to come.
