Adult Ministry

Adult Ministry

The purpose of Adult Ministries at the Mount Zion MBC is to provide an environment that encourages
and equips adults of all ages to fully live out their faith in daily life. This ministry is a life-long process of
seeking and maintaining a relationship with God by becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. This life-
long journey of spiritual development is expressed through knowing Christ, growing in Christ, and
showing Christ to others.

Adults are invited to join either of our adult Bible study sessions, via conference line, each Wednesday
evening from 7pm until 8pm, or they may join our Noon Day Bible session, via conference line, on
Thursday from 12pm until 1pm. We also have Sunday school each Sunday at the Mount Zion MBC. This
session begins at 9:45am until 10:45am.

The Mount Zion MBC has partnered with Partners in Racial Justice, a nonprofit organization with a
mission to engage in creative ways and means of bringing all people together in pursuit of racial justice,
healing and unity. The Mount Zion MBC invite all churches to collaborate with us in this groundbreaking
work of fostering a vision of ONENESS through a proven, distinctive approach toward the elimination of
racism.

Join us each second Sunday at 2pm at the Mount Zion MBC, where congregants of predominantly black
churches and white churches, and others, come together to explore the truth of our common humanity.
In this session we form bonds of friendship across historically divided lines and discover together how
each of us can become agents of change in making the world a brighter place.
